About Coco

Coco is a 7-month-old female African Grey with a calm and gentle disposition. She is an exceptionally intelligent bird, even by African Grey standards. Coco has been hand-reared in our facility, where she has received the best care, from filtered air to simulated sunrises. She is now ready to find a permanent home with a loving family.

Temperament and Social Needs

Coco is a social parrot who enjoys spending time near her humans. While she isn’t a ‘cuddle-bug,’ she is more tolerant of head scratches than many other Greys. She is a sensitive bird who notices small changes in her environment, so a steady routine is very important for her well-being. Coco is at the ideal age for bonding and will likely become a very loyal companion.

Home and Habitat

Coco needs a spacious cage filled with variety. Foraging toys are a must to keep her mind active. We recommend placing her cage in a secure corner to help her feel at ease. Our 16 years of experience have taught us that a secure, clean environment is the key to a happy Grey, and Coco has had the best possible start.

Nutrition for Longevity

To ensure Coco lives a long, healthy life, we provide a nutrient-dense diet. She loves fresh vegetables like sweet potato and kale, which provide the Vitamin A she needs.
