Clive is a 7-month-old male Congo African Grey with a bold personality. African Greys are world-famous for their talking ability, and Clive is already showing great potential. He is a ‘no-nonsense’ bird who values his independence but is also deeply loyal to his human companions. At 7 months, he is in the prime window for speech development and social imprinting.

Temperament and Socialization

Clive is a social bird who has been handled daily since birth. While he isn’t an overly physical bird, he enjoys intellectual engagement. He is very observant and will quickly learn the sounds of your home. Like all Greys, Clive can be sensitive to stress, so a consistent routine is key to his happiness. Clive requires a large cage with plenty of room for toys and movement. To help him feel safe, his cage should have at least one side against a wall.
