Barry is a 7-month-old male African Grey with a sharp mind. He has been hand-reared since day one in our professional facility. African Greys are the most recognizable and loved parrots for a reason—their intelligence and personality are unmatched. Barry is currently in a high-learning phase and is ready for a home that will challenge him.

Temperament and Social Life

Barry is a smart, no-nonsense bird who is very observant of his surroundings. He is socialized with people but also enjoys his time with his toys. Like most Greys, he can become a ‘one-person bird,’ so consistent interaction from all family members is encouraged. Barry is a creature of habit and will thrive in a home with a steady daily routine.

Habitat and Comfort

A spacious cage is a requirement for Barry, as he loves to move around and play. Placing his cage in a corner will help him feel secure as he adjusts to his new home. Barry’s diet is focused on long-term health. He enjoys a balance of Nutri-Berries, fresh kale, and sweet potatoes to ensure he gets enough Vitamin A.
