Ava is a 7-month-old female African Grey who is already proving to be a quick learner. African Greys are famous for their vocabulary, but Ava is showing an aptitude for understanding the context of her sounds. She has been hand-reared from birth, making her comfortable with human interaction and ready for advanced training.

Personality and Behavior

Ava is an alert and curious bird. She is a creature of habit and appreciates a structured environment. While she is social, she also values her independent play time. She is at the perfect age to begin a lifelong bond with a new owner. Like all Greys, Ava is sensitive to stress, so a calm and patient approach to her training is recommended.

Environmental Requirements

Ava’s home should be a place of safety and stimulation. A large cage with plenty of room for movement is essential. We recommend placing the cage with a corner against the wall for security. Our facility’s HEPA filters and full-spectrum lighting ensure Ava has grown up in a healthy, naturalistic environment, giving her a great start in life.

Dietary Health

Ava’s diet is rich in essential vitamins and minerals. She eats a mix of pellets, seeds, and fresh vegetables like kale and sweet potatoes.
